


ABOUT
Billy is a fifth-generation lawyer. He was born and raised in Chapel Hill, the son of a teacher and criminal defense attorney. After graduating from Appalachian State University, he matriculated to North Carolina Central's School of Law. After law school, he began work as a prosecutor in Orange and Chatham Counties. During his years as a prosecutor, he tried hundreds of cases ranging from first-degree murder to driving while impaired (DWI), to drug and alcohol violations, to a variety of assaults. Now in private practice, his focus is primarily trial work in both criminal and civil matters. He provides legal assistance with DWIs, traffic tickets, drug crimes, theft and property crimes, misdemeanors, and expungements. He also handles personal injury cases.
He is a member of the Orange County Bar Association and the North Carolina Bar Association. Billy provides each of his clients with top-notch defense work, taking the time to guide clients through a challenging legal process.
